The People And Philosophy Behind Auto Artists And Shield Artists
Rooted in a 25-year business history, our team delivers meticulous craftsmanship and tailored solutions to preserve high-value vehicles and commercial spaces throughout the GTA.
Family Foundations
Building On A Multi-Generational Legacy
Auto Artists and Shield Artists grew from a family environment where working on vehicles was part of everyday life. Founded in 2007, the company evolved as a specialized sister operation to a thriving automotive mechanic shop established by family patriarch Camillo. Today, owners Alessia Campli and Patrick Kovacs carry this foundational heritage forward. As a certified women-owned business, Alessia manages operations and the customer experience, while Patrick applies his expertise as a licensed technician and passionate car enthusiast.
Operating from our primary headquarters at 60 Winges Rd, we support clients across Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, and Toronto. Each project follows the same mindset established from the beginning: slow the process down, understand the client goal, and apply the right preservation method for the surface involved.
Two Disciplines
Why The Studio Works Across Vehicles And Interiors
Over time, the studio naturally expanded beyond vehicles. Clients who trusted the team with their cars often asked about protecting glass, stone, and other materials inside their homes or businesses. That demand led to the development of the Shield Artists brand, which focuses on architectural and surface protection work such as decorative films, security film, and marble protection.
Every installation demands careful preparation, precise placement, and an understanding of how the finished result will integrate into its environment. Our automotive division preserves paint clarity, while our architectural team seamlessly integrates durability and safety into luxury interiors. Operating these dual identities under one roof allows us to bring a consistent, high-end standard of care to distinctly different environments.
